JG University's B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / iMSc in Mathematics & Computing is structured to build strong mathematical foundations combined with modern computational techniques. The programme integrates subjects such as advanced mathematics, statistics, data analytics, algorithms, programming, and computational modeling. Students gain practical exposure through problem-solving sessions, coding labs, research assignments, and applied projects. The B.Sc. is a 3-year programme, B.Sc. (Hons) extends to 4 years with an exit option after the third year, and the iMSc pathway allows progression toward a Master's degree. The curriculum emphasizes logical reasoning, analytical skills, and quantitative decision-making. The objective is to prepare highly skilled professionals and "Whole Brain Change Makers" capable of solving complex real-world problems using mathematical and computational tools.
The students seeking admission in the B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / iMSc programme shall have passed the HSC examination (Class 12) or equivalent from a recognized board.
The candidate must have obtained the following minimum aggregate marks (grand total) at the above qualifying examination.
For open category candidates 45%
For reserved category candidates 40%
